TLPA would like to thank our premier sponsor, Autocab, for sponsoring this year's annual convention and trade show. We encourage you to visit all of our sponsors in Phoenix. Please visit our sponsor page for a complete list of sponsors.
President Bill Scalzi and the TLPA leadership invite you to join them in Denver for our 99th Annual Convention & Trade Show, October 8-12, 2017. This convention is a celebration of our 100th anniversary of representing the needs of for-hire transportation companies that serve business travelers, tourists, people with disabilities and the general public and is a perfect opportunity for members to get together and share ideas. It's our 99th convention and our 100th anniversary because WWI travel restrictions prevented a trade show in 1918. Some highlights will be the introduction of TLPA's new, free national marketing program for members, the introduction of TLPA's business platform winner, how to cut costs with new auto liability insurance options and strategies and much more.
As always, our trade show is the focal point for all of our food & beverage functions. Your convention registration fee includes the operator tour, one buffet breakfast, one buffet lunch, two cocktail receptions and access to the open educational sessions and the Trade Show. You may also purchase tickets to the optional events when you register online.
This year's trade show will feature approximately 100 vendors showcasing the most advanced products and services to help you run your business more efficiently. Nowhere else will you find the ultimate combination of industry information, education and networking. Whether you're a fleet operator or an industry supplier, participating in this convention and trade show will be critical to the continued revitalization of your business.
The Hyatt Regency Denver has a limited number of rooms for TLPA until September 1, or when the block sells out. TLPA's special group rate is $249 single or double occupancy. Rooms are exclusive of applicable state and local taxes which are currently 14.75%.
