We’re all in need of a little vacation, and Palm Springs
seems like the place to be.
The Taxicab, Limousine & Paratransit Association’s
Spring Conference & Expo, held in conjunction with the Taxicab Paratransit Association
of California’s Annual Meeting, will take place at the Hyatt Regency Indian
Wells Resort & Spa from April 25 to 28. It’s TLPA’s first meeting of the year,
and President Bill Scalzi, the TLPA leadership, and TPAC want you to be there.
While the conference will have tons of useful information to
help you run a better business, Palm Springs, California, is a sun-drenched
oasis. We’ve done the legwork for you and checked out the must-sees in Palm
Springs, so all you have to do is book your flight.
It would be hard to ignore the incredible golf courses in
Palm Springs. In fact, the hotel boasts a premiergoal course. You can play 36 holes of championship golf, and both courses
have been ranked among the top courses you can play in all of California.
The hotel is beautiful, but if you feel like getting
outdoorsy on your trip, the Palm Springs area has plentiful opportunities for just
that. The Indian Canyons are great for hiking, and you can check out more here.
Our industry is full of driving, but it’s got nothing on the
BMW performance drivingschool. Here, you can hop into a BMW and take it for a spin on a racetrack
south of Palm Springs. These high-speed driving classes, offered year-round,
let you push these vehicles to the limit in a safe environment. You can take
these vehicles on an off-road course and take a hot lap on fast straightaways.
Every Thursday night in Palm Springs, vendors crowd the
street for a nighttime street fair of arts, crafts, foods and entertainment
called VillageFest. You’ll find all sorts
of great stuff here, like good food, fun jewelry, and a blues CD from a local
Palm Springs has its own unique food scene you have to check
out. Whether you’re into steaks, poolside dining, or a combination of the two,
this California city has it all. Here’s
a cool list
of restaurants to check out.
