The tournament will be held Sunday, October 8, at The Ridge at Castle Pines North, located just south of Denver. The Ridge is an award-winning layout that presents players with roomy fairways, sculpted bunkers and large, rolling greens. Buses will leave the Hyatt Regency at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday with a shotgun start set for 10:00 a.m. The tournament is sponsored by Atlas Financial Holdings.
The party will be held Sunday evening, October 8, at the Rhein Haus, which is a festive Bavarian-inspired restaurant featuring 24 German and local draft beers and bocce ball courts. The evening will feature the great food and friends, an open bar, the golf awards from the tournament earlier in the day, and of course, a bocce ball tournament.
Robert McBride of Metro Transportation Planning & Solutions Group will host the tour. The event will be held on Monday, October 9, from 9:10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Attendees will see the maintenance facility, call center, orientation center and administrative offices. Drinks and snacks will be served.
The dinner hosted by the Women in Transportation Committee will be held on Monday, October 9, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Tamayo, a chic rooftop restaurant with stunning mountain views overlooking Historic Larimer Square. We'll enjoy authentic Mexican food and endless margarita, mojitos and more. During this unique networking event, an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to women in transportation will be honored. This year we recognize Lorraine Wilde, Go Airport Shuttle of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
The event will be held on Wednesday, October 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at the hotel. The evening will feature an open bar and the always spirited silent auction to benefit the TLPA's legislative arm, the TLPA Action Fund.
If you would like to donate an item to the auction, please bring it to the convention and turn it in at the registration desk when you register. Please refrain from donating company logo items.
