But one thing about Vegas is that there is a show around every corner. So, make sure to register for the convention, and start planning now for an evening out!
Here is just a sampling of what awaits in Vegas:
Believe it or not, there was a time when there was just one Cirque du Soleil in Vegas, the original Mystère. Now there are loads to choose from: "Michael Jackson ONE
" at Mandalay Bay, "The Beatles LOVE
" at the Mirage, "KÀ
" at MGM Grand and "O
" at the Bellagio. There's even an adults-only Cirque du Soleil called "Zumanity
" at New York, New York. So, swing your trapeze on over to any one of these and delve into the mixture of fantasy and acrobatics that made this show famous the world over.
Vegas is also a city where magic reigns supreme, and there's no shortage of breathtaking sleights of hand. David Copperfield
, the man who famously made the Statue of Liberty disappear on live television, performs at the MGM Grand. Over at the Rio, you can see the legendary duo Penn & Teller
. And for a slightly more surreal experience, try "Criss Angel MINDFREAK LIVE
" at the Luxor.
Of course, there are also plenty of events to attend at the convention itself. Start things off right on Saturday, Oct. 27, with the Kick-Off Party featuring dueling pianos. Find old friends and new at the Transportation Solutions MarketPlace and make your own fun on Sunday night, Oct. 28. And then be sure to cap it off in style on Monday, Oct. 29, at the Closing Reception & Silent Auction.
It's all happening in just a few weeks, so be sure to make plans now. You can find the convention agenda, speaker bios, hotel information and more all in one place on TLPA's website
See you in Vegas!
