The DestinationParis—the City of Lights—a destination that leaves all visitors with a sense of wonder and a determination to return. Most first-time visitors are drawn to the sites they've always dreamed to see the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, a stroll down the Champs-Elysées, Notre Dame, and the Eiffel Tower. But those who have experienced Paris know that the essence of the city lies in its riverbanks and neighborhoods. To experience Paris is to people watch as you relax at a sidewalk café or converse with locals during a street festival. You may want to extend your stay and join the celebration of Bastille Days on July 14 that celebrates the French revolution of 1789. A great deal of useful information can be gathered at the official Paris Convention and Visitors Web site: http://en.parisinfo.com/
The InvitationPresident Brian Hunt invites you visit our Parisian colleagues to learn the differences and similarities of the transportation business in France. The program of events will include discussion of the current industry developments in the United States and how they compare to what is happening in France. We'll also visit the headquarters of our largest international member, Veolia Transportation, to see where they conduct their worldwide business transactions.
