It's Easy to Reserve Your Display Space for TLPA's Trade Show
The Exhibitor Prospectus includes: specifications & fees, the floor plan, the exhibit rental agreement, the contract to exhibit and a list of recent exhibitors. To contract to exhibit, simply fax the exhibit contract and make full payment on a credit card or you may mail the contract to us with a check drawn on a U.S. bank. Don't forget to email your 15 word caption to dlagasse@tlpa.org when you contract to exhibit! Remember, you cannot reserve a space without returning a signed contract with full payment.

Space is Assigned According to a Priority System - This is How it Works
All current Associate Members and last year's exhibitors qualified to participate in the priority system. Exhibit contracts were assigned giving preference for selection of exhibit space according to: 1) the amount of display space ordered in 2008, 2) show event sponsors in 2007 & 2008, 3) amount of support through advertising, 4) TLPA membership status in 2008 and TLPA accounts being current, 5) Trade Show participation in 2005, and 5) the date the signed contract and full payment was received.

All Associate Members, show sponsors and last year's exhibitors must have had their signed contract and payment to the TLPA office by April 15 to be included in the priority assignments. After April 15 any company can apply for a display space on a first come, first served basis.

Sponsorships - Your Relationship Building Vehicles
Vendors that sponsored events or items last year were given the first opportunity to sponsor the same event or item again this year. Advanced sponsorships were due by April 8; after April 8 sponsorships will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Only event sponsors will receive enhanced name and logo recognition in the conference program and on TLPA's website. Click here for more information on sponsorships and a sponsorship commitment form. Events in the Exhibit Hall
The Trade Show will be held in the Tampa Convention Center that is located directly across the street from the Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina, our host hotel. To make the most of the show, the TLPA offers 11 hours of non-compete exhibit hall open hours. The Grand Opening Reception will take place in the exhibit hall on Monday, October 27, from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28 the hall will be open from 12:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. During that time, we will hold a luncheon as well as Member Appreciation Cocktails in the exhibit hall. On Wednesday, October 29 the hall will be open from 10:30 – 2:00 p.m. with a luncheon held at noon. Associate Members receive a $500 to $1000 discount on exhibit fees.

Members receive many benefits including year round listings on our virtual Buyers Guide at www.tlpa.org, a printed listing in our Buyers Guide published in the Spring issue of the Transportation Leader magazine, a $500 to $1000 exhibit space discount at the Annual Convention, a $300 exhibit space discount at the Spring Conference, a listing in and a copy of our membership directory, and much more. If you're not already a TLPA Associate Member, return your membership form with your exhibit contract to receive your $500 discount. Please note: because you will be receiving exposure in the online Buyers Guide, on the trade show exhibitors page of TLPA’s website, and the discount on exhibit space, your membership will expire on December 31, 2008.

  • 76% of TLPA attendees are the owners of the transportation fleets and 13% are the general managers. So a total of 89% of TLPA attendees are key decision makers for their companies.
  • 84% of TLPA exhibitors rated the exhibit hall open hours as "excellent" or "good".
  • 71% of TLPA exhibitors rated the floor traffic/decision makers and excellent leads as "excellent" or "good".
